Sound Bathers ~
Please be aware that the sound bath immersion is an experience that is different every time and is always evolving. It is very unique and personal to each individual participating. The manner in which the sounds and vibrations are received, assimilated and integrated will vary. Be aware there is no guarantee what you experienced during one session will occur at the next and you may have a very different result.
It is best to come with no expectations and be open to what is and simply just be. It will be a different experience at each venue, depending on the space, the acoustics, as well as the group energy, which also comes into play. It is an experience that can touch you on a deep level, as well as on a more subtle level. Just like Reiki, or other forms of energy work, there will be times when you will have a recognizable shift and times where you may think you feel nothing physically, mentally, emotionally or spiritually. However on a deeper subconscious level something may be taking place.

I can’t begin to explain my experience in sound bath session with Andrea! I have suffer from neurological illness and felt compelled to try a sound bath as I continue on my healing journey. It was a AMAZING experience for me! My body was moving in a way that it has never moved before, in a way, unwinding itself. I let it be. I felt such a release in my mind, body, and soul! This year 2022, my husband and I decided to start off our vacation with a soundbath - and I'm so glad we did. Andrea had everything set up when we arrived. The studio was easy to find and very comfortable. Andrea explained everything and answered all of our questions. As we reclined in the gravity chairs, the session started and an hour melted away in what seemed like a few minutes. After the session, my husband and I talked about our experience and agreed that we both felt restored, relaxed, and calm - mentally and physically. This was the perfect way to begin our time off and I highly recommend the experience for anyone seeking to restore themselves!

A Sound Bath with Sound Healer Andrea Lisette Villiere
I agree without hesitation that Andrea is an alchemist of sound and vibration. I was fortunate enough to have a couple’s session amidst her collection of singing bowls, chimes, gongs, and her other “sacred tools,” both Indian and Indigenous. Sound bathers receive, assimilate, and integrate vibrations in an intensely subjective way, on both a conscious and subconscious level. No matter how you felt before you enter Andrea's world, you cross the threshold and it changes you. If you are atuned to your inner rhythms on any level, a sound bath, in a place of tranquility and beauty, will tickle your fancy.
For me, eyes closed, the simple shaking of seed pods sewn on embroidered bands conjured primordial rain forests in perfect harmony and balance filled with more birds than ever existed anywhere since. Undertones and overtones of gongs connected me with some stable universal life force, a wholeness, and brought to mind the ungraspable nature of the monolith in 2001 Space Odyssey. Think purring cat, lover’s heartbeat, ocean waves, pitter patter of gentle rain and you will only begin to feel the harmonic healing possibilities of sound bathing.

Thank you Andrea, I am so happy I attended the sound bath recently. I experienced healing and greater appreciation of the power it has.
Many people attend with different ideas, needs and expectations. I attended with openness. I felt it was an opportunity to be supported in my own healing and to support others in theirs.
I thought it was important for me to actively set intentions and participate in the experience, but as much as that may be beneficial I was surprised at the benefits of just letting go and experiencing just being there. I didn’t have to do anything to feel the healing.
We know how a heartbeat sound calms a baby, or how ocean waves and rain sounds help to calm the mind and body. I think the sound bath takes sound healing to a greater level because the vibration of sound is present. I felt like the vibrations of sound washed over and through me and I imagined down to every cell being renewed and finding harmony. I left feeling cleansed and renewed.

Wow I attended the Sacred Sounds, Awaken the Heart through Vibration again at yesterday’s 4 o’clock session in the salt cave and it was fantastic . This time my 3rd eye chakra opened to Certain sounds. The color was beautiful. Then my crown chakra opened to a different sound and white light beamed down through so I just kept slowly pulling it down through my body right to my feet. Of course it was more intense on the foot I had surgery on but is was so very very warm. Then bands of the rainbow flowed through. Then they circled my body vertically spinning and then around my head laterally at the same time. Then bands were circling my body in all angles spinning. Then the most wonderful thing happened. I heard the high pitches that are gone from my Hearing even with hearing aids. They were so beautiful. And of course in the beginning when she does the drums the Indian chief appears and there is a fire and he is doing his chant and others are dancing around the fire and it grows and he raises his hands to to heavens. I have no idea what the chant is but she generates an angel. That happened both times. She is fantastic at what she does. I am a reiki master teacher and I recommend this to everyone. I believe once u go the second time the more intense it will feel for you. You can actually feel your body reacting to the different sounds. I can’t speak highly enough of her and her talent. It’s just beautiful. A friend of mine went with me for her first time and her reaction was WOW!

My husband and I came to stay at The Doctor's Inn where Andrea lives, specifically because of the sound healing. It was a deep, and magical experience and I am so glad we did! We had a couples 1hr session and I can truly say we went on a journey. The sounds triggered visions for me during the session and I was able to feel what is blocking me in certain areas of life. There were moments it also felt very joyful. And I really appreciate Andrea's cheerful and kind nature; she effortlessly welcomes you to relax into the practice. I recently had the opportunity to experience a sound healing session with Andrea.
It was the first time I had experienced anything like that before. Andrea carefully and mindfully set up the room with all the beautiful instruments and helped me to identify my intentions for the session. I laid on a Biomat which was also a first for me, very comfortable and warm.
As Andrea began to create with her tools, I relaxed deeply into a lovely realm which I experienced as being bathed with musical sounds and frequencies. I could feel the sound energy flowing through my body and washing through me. It was really incredible and fabulous; very relaxing. The energetic symphony began to activate my inner vision and I began to 'see' an array of beautiful little vibrantly colored fish swimming in and out of these long vertical crystal clear tubes hanging in a whimsical ocean of color. Everything was lively and colorful with vivid blues and yellows, purples and pinks, and some flashes of orange. It was beautiful and silly all at the same time. I was chuckling inside myself. So much fun. All of the sounds seemed perfectly selected for my needs. It was beyond what words can express in terms of the beauty of the sounds. The complexity and specific recipe that Andrea created with her sound tools was rich and unique. It activated memories and emotions inside of me which came bubbling to the surface, effortlessly. I was able to release some deeply stored memories that I wasn't even aware existed! How interesting!
At some point in this musical healing symphony of sounds, I was aware of a sudden release of tension in my neck which had been causing some discomfort for a while, it was part of my initial intention that I wanted healing for my sore neck. I had no idea it would be such a significant release. I was pleasantly surprised!
The whole experience was tremendous. I highly recommend Andrea's gifted ability with sound healing. Having a session for yourself is a gift to yourself for your highest and greatest good!

When I booked the Yellow Room at The Doctor’s Inn in Saranac Lake for a week of hiking in the High Peaks with my dog, I had no idea I had signed up for a late summer vacation in a healing abode. Once we got to the house on the hill, it didn’t take long to experience the blessing. The shift in energy was already palpable, pulling into driveway. This place brings forces together. And, not surprisingly, Andrea and Mike, the Inn keeping couple, are wonderful hosts, inviting in all earthly beings and heavenly creatures, small or tall.
The heart of the house holds a pantheon of sacred sounds. They live in singing bowls, crystal pyramids, tuning forks, shells on strings, airy chimes, and gongs of many sizes. They respond to Andrea’s calling.
I was fortunate to receive two healing sessions from Andrea. Uplifted, gently held and guided by the powerful call and response between the healer and the sound, I found myself traveling an expansive labyrinth, moving toward its center - the pure unknown, in innocence, fearless, filled with joy, smiling. The sound surrounding me had taste to it, and texture, temperature, and scent. It was a cloth, and a breeze, a dome, clear light, and the absence of everything. Retracing my steps back out, I felt weightless, freed.
It’s my hope that many more people will find their way to The Doctor’s Inn and receive the healing sounds and inspiration Andrea calls forth.
